RL700E – 750lb Electric Battery Lift

RL650E Server Lifter

The RL700E Battery Lift was built to facilitate heavy lifting of battery’s equipment, or servers weighing up to 750 pounds within 49 seconds bottom to top; more safely, with an optional shelf that extends  24” into a 19″ or 23” Rack at 46U.  The RL700 can be custom built to  service heights to 52U or 100 inches.

The Electric DC battery powered winch is also made in the USA and rated for one hour of continuous operation equal to sixty equipment installations.  It is rechargeable with a smart wall charger (included) within three hours. High-Efficiency Winch, low amp draw, sealed 1.6 hp permanent magnet motor featuring mechanical load holding and dynamic brake. Improved Safety & Productivity

Cable spools, batteries and data center equipment equipment has been growing in size and weight contributing to more serious employee injuries and equipment damage when dropped. Data centers depend on RackLift to improve employee safety during server, battery or equipment installations.  They also enjoy the added benefit of a 400% increase in productivity.

Here’s Why

IMG_20151116_122014

Without RackLift battery Lift, heavy loads are transported through the warehouse or data center on a handcart or device not designed for Battery Lifting. One technician can load and unload heavy battery’s by sliding off the teflon surface, minimizing back injury. This time-consuming, labor-intensive task can be accomplished  safely in half the time with a single technician installing a fully assembled UPS storage rack.

How It Works

Three simple steps:

Step 1

Place the batteries or equipment to be installed on the RackLift platen

step1

Step 2

Roll to location, lock wheels, press the winch switch to raise the load to the required level

step2

Step 3

Slide off battery onto the shelf for mounting

step3 lift battery

RackLift utilizes important safety features to help protect users and equipment. The safety winch utilizes an auto break system which locks instantly when the user releases the switch. RackLift is equipped with four ratchet straps to fasten RackLift to the rack housing and also to secure the battery or equipment load during transport. Four swivel casters allow for easy rolling, cornering and even 360˚ rotation in the aisle. Two of the wheels lock to prevent movement when raising or lowering loads. Optional Heavy duty slide rails easily extend and hold the load in the receiving rack for installation or removal.
